Last July, Deutsche Post issued a special stamp on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Dr. Magnus Hirschfeld (1868-1935) as the founder of the first LGBTI organization in the world. This is the very first time Deutsche Post issued a seal with an LGBTI theme.

Orlando Boldewijn Commemorated with Silent March

In The Hague, Orlando Boldewijn was commemorated in the Ypenburg district. In February, the seventeen-year-old boy from Rotterdam died there after a date via the gay app Grindr. After a week of searching for his body, his remains were found in the water of the Blauwe Loper pond.
