The Pink Party was established by COC Limburg in 1978 with the intention to give the concept of integration more content. The diversity of the visitors as an example of integration is the reason that COC Limburg is still organizing it, first upcoming October 8th.
Over the years, the Pink Party has become one of the largest GLBT parties in the Southern provinces of the Netherlands. Diversity remains key - young, old, male, female, gay or straight, everyone is welcome.
In the past thirty-eight years, the Pink Party was hosted in very special venues, for example the Dominican Church, Bergmans, and the Muziekgieterij in Maastricht. Especially the editions at the Dominican Church were memorable, as it was a gay party in a church building.
With the upcoming edition of October 8, the organization will somewhat go back in time, as the party will be held at Rebelle, known as the Augustinian Church, on the Kesselskade in Maastricht. Again after so many years, the Pink Party will be organised in an old church building.
This unique location will enhance the ambiance created by a strong program.
The line-up of the Pink Party presents Pink Rebel: The G-Team, Mc Missbunty, DJ Kespa, DJ Miss Nathalie. The party will also have special acts, dancers, and drag queens.
