The phrase “For All Who Love” is comprehensive for Milkshake’s objective and the atmosphere of the festival over the years.
Milkshake is a dance festival that was developed from the thought that “anything is possible,” and shows that entertainment, music preference, choice of outfit and status have nothing to do with sexuality. During Milkshake, the atmosphere is free of prejudice created by society.
Life is just a party because of the large diversity in skin color, sexual preference, and various forms of expression. Milkshake celebrates the city and its initiatives, and devotes itself to more courtesy and love for one another. Hefty, thin, small, gay, straight, transsexual, drag queen, pitch black or lily white, people are the salt of the earth, and that is what will be celebrated at the festival.
Milkshake will take place in the Westerpark in Amsterdam on Sunday July 20, 2014. Recently, the early-bird tickets sold out in eight minutes and thirty seconds.
SuperBimbo from Rotterdam will participate for the third time. It is about the atmosphere and the abstract performances under the motto: The visitors are the stars, not the DJs.
Can You Feel iT is a recurring club night at AIR Amsterdam. The “behind-closed-doors” feel of the 1990s in the iT will again be hosted by Mayday. And on stage, stars from the past will shine again.
