The WareHouse on Warmoesstraat is one of Amsterdam’s newest nightclubs that caters itself to house music lovers. After opening in July 2013, this club with a 300 person capacity has already brought legendary nights to it’s public. Now the club is proud to present a next phase with the opening of the newest addition to the nightclub, a Chill Lounge, designed by world renowned Amsterdam based Argentinian artist, Lalo Fernandez.

The nightclub sits in an historical building that once housed the well-known gay men’s nightclub The Cockring and offers three floors of clubbing experience with an industrial “warehouse metal” design throughout. The lower level welcomes the guests to a intimate sized dance-floor equipped with a full beer and spirits bar.

Sonically, the guests are warmly welcomed with a LD “Stinger” sound system to move their body and feet. The strategically placed system married with the room’s size makes this space a dream room for DJs to play in with complete crowd control and nights of non-stop dancing.

The mid-level of the club, which was once the cruising area, has been converted by local artist Lalo Fernandez into a state-of-the-art Chill Lounge. On this floor Lalo has included a small “friends” corner with two cabins for those who require a moment of intimacy. The upper floor is a mid-sized, well-ventilated smoker’s room, so there is no need to go outside on colder or rainy nights.

With the closing of many gay nightclubs and bars the opportunity presented itself to bring superb international and local house music DJs to Amsterdam in a safe-space free from judgements based on sexuality, age, race, and gender. Already having the experience to bring quality events across Europe, the power behind Rapido Events found The WareHouse space to be perfect to create weekly parties that focused on dance music communities, gay and straight alike. The nightclub is open Thursdays thru Sundays and showcases the diversity of dance music that can be found in a diverse city like Amsterdam.

* Thursdays: POP!Lounge:
with pop music being the most popular music globally, The WareHouse designs this night to bring the latest pop music and videos to start off the weekend.

* Fridays: RELEAZE:
international and local GLBT DJs spinning happy house, handbag house and UK funky house.

* Last Friday of every month: BOILER ROOM:
pays tribute to the history of the space, The Cockring, with international gogo boys, pornstars, and giveaways.

* Saturdays: DEVIATE:
international DJs who are hot on the global circuit spinning deep, chunky, progressive and techno grooves.

* Sundays: NIGHTSHIFT:
Local DJs, Dikky Vendetta and ManMachine invite other local and international DJs and producers for a night of deep house and techno beats.
